No stranger to success, Coach Guy has posted an overall record of 432-102 (.809) during his coaching tenure. He has led teams to three Collegiate State Championships and several NCAA bids including two final eight appearances. He was named SUNYAC and New York State Coach of the Year on several occasions and was named Section V Coach of the Year in 2008. In 2009 he guided his team to a Class AA title and a Final Four State Tournament berth.
Coach Guy has coached at all levels from Youth to Division III and brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge to share with players, staff and parents involved in the club. Coach Guy is well respected throughout the New York State Basketball Community and he is a member of the New York State Basketball Coaches Association. His 30 year plus years of experience has enabled him to establish numerous contacts helping to guide older club players looking to play at the next level.
He currently is a certified coaching class instructor for the required New York State Coaching Certification Program and has trained numerous coaches throughout the Finger Lakes Region. His motivational skills and passion while working with athletes of all ages allows him to get the most out of his teams/players. He takes a genuine interest in all of his club members and is very visible at all practices/events. He will be working with all teams in the program stressing the club motto... WE TEACH SKILLS !!
