Scott Savage has been a coach and contributor in the Finger Lakes Fury organization for the past 5 years. He has coached Fury teams at various age and skill levels. Scott's passion and commitment to teaching the true fundamentals of the game align with the philosophy of the FLF organization. Scott enjoys teaching the combination of the physical part of the game with the "basketball IQ" portion. Season after season Scott drives his "5 team rules" to the center of his team's core: Work Hard, Play As A Team, Learn The Game, Compete, Have Fun.
For the past 4 years, Scott has been the volunteer assistant basketball coach for the Palmyra-Macedon girls Varsity and JV teams, again driving the fundamentals of the game to build a solid program at all levels. Prior to Pal-Mac, Scott spent two years as a volunteer assistant for the Marcus Whitman boys Varsity basketball team.
During his playing days, Scott ran the hardwoods for coach Bob Ward at St. John Fisher College, helping them to the semifinals in the year-end NCAA tournament his senior year.
