Scott Savage - Girls Co-Director

Scott Savage has been a coach and contributor in the Fury organization for the past 5 years. He has coached Fury teams at various age and skill levels. Scott's passion and commitment to teaching the true fundamentals of the game align with the philosophy of the FLF organization. Scott enjoys teaching the combination of the physical part of the game with the "basketball IQ" portion. Season after season Scott drives his "5 team rules" to the center of his team's core: Work Hard, Play As A Team, Learn The Game, Compete, Have Fun.

For the past 4 years, Scott has been the volunteer assistant basketball coach for the Palmyra-Macedon girls Varsity and JV teams, again driving the fundamentals of the game to build a solid program at all levels. For the Pal-Mac program, he also coaches the girls 7/8th travel teams and is active in various community clinics and basketball activities.

Prior to Pal-Mac, Scott spent two years as a volunteer assistant for the Marcus Whitman boys Varsity basketball team.

During his playing days, Scott ran the hardwoods for coach Bob Ward at St. John Fisher College, helping them to the semifinals in the year-end NCAA tournament his senior year. Prior to Fisher, Scott played two high-scoring seasons for coach Putt Moore at FLCC. He played the same way he coaches, by using athleticism and a hard-nosed style.

Scott resides in Palmyra with his wife Jeanna and their daughters Aldyn and Andra, who are active players in the Pal-Mac basketball program. He and Jeanna are members of the Palmyra Community Center board for the national Gas Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament hosted annually in Palmyra.
