STEVE ANDREWS 

Coach Andrews was instrumental in establishing our First Boys Youth Fury Team. His group met with tremendous success while playing in tournaments with older age group teams. He is a former Hornell High School standout and later went on to play Division III basketball @ St. Fisher College. He had participated in several basketball camps including those held @ St. John Fisher, St. Bonaventure and Houghton College. Currently he is the President of the Canandaigua Youth Basketball Program as well as a Canandaigua Youth Travel League coach. Steve is an excellent communicator and has a genuine passion for all aspects of basketball. He firmly believes in the importance of sound fundamental basketball skills and he is an excellent motivator. Michael Brennan

Coach Brennan is currently the Varsity Coach at Canandaigua Academy and former Boys Assistant Varsity Coach. Mike played Division III basketball @ Nazareth College and was also a graduate assistant coach there. He later served as an assistant coach @ Pal-mac under the legendary Chip Tatro where he helped guide the team to a 19-3 record. During my 30 plus years as a coach I have never seen anyone work harder at developing players within a program. He spends countless hours teaching basic fundamentals and he is the perfect model for the Finger Lakes Motto... WE TEACH SKILLS !

Al Best

Coach Best is one of the most successful Girls High School Basketball Coaches in Section V with 485 wins to his credit as well as numerous Sectional Titles. A Section V Hall of Famer, Coach Best believes strongly in the MENTAL ASPECT of the game making him an excellent motivational speaker and clinician. He is a skill oriented coach as well as an excellent shooting instructor.

Maddy Brown

Coach Brown is currently the Assistant Girls Varsity Coach and Assistant Athletic Director at Aquinas. She was an All Greater Rochester Player of the Year as well as New York State Class A Player of the Year while playing at H-F-L and a Division I Basketball player at Pittsburgh and Texas Tech. This fall she was selected to the Section V Hall of Fame. Coach Brown has a genuine passion for the game and will serve as an excellent role model and guest clinician.

Alyssa Fenyn

Coach Fenyn is currently the Assistant Varsity Coach at Webster Thomas as well as a Personal Trainer at FORE Performance in Rochester. She was an All-Greater Rochester Player of the Year in 2009 while playing at Newark and a Division I player at Virginia Tech where she was named Rookie of the Year in 2009. Coach Fenyn later went on to play European Professional Basketball. Alyssa is a very driven competitor and understands what it takes to play at the next level. Her experience will be shared with players during her mini-clinics and training sessions.

 

Bill Bowe

Former Division III Coach Brockport State - Coach Bowe has won Sectional Titles as well as SUNYAC Championships while coaching at Brockport State. He also coached in the Open Division of the Empire State Games earning Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals during his 14 years as head coach. While at Brockport he developed 10 SUNYAC All-Conference Players as well as 3 All-Americans while guiding his program to 3 NCAA Post-Season berths. He was named 1994 SUNYAC Coach of the Year. His 29 years of coaching experience as a winner make him a great clinician for our Fury Club.
